POSITION VACANCY: Teacher Assistant (Special Education Classroom)
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma
Child care classes and/or experience in child care
Knowledge of child development
Experience with special needs students
Ability to lift 100 lbs
Basic computer skills

DUTIES:

To work under the direction of the special education teacher in the classroom, school grounds and in community settings, providing: instructional support; student supervision; classroom management; physical supports to students in meeting their personal needs including toileting, feedings, medical and behavioral needs.
